NOTIFICATION

  1. The E and E-2 licence-holder shall not procure fresh liquor stocks till the lockdown lasts.

  2. The licence-holder shall take all due precaution to prevent the spread of the disease of COVID-19 by ensuring due care in hygiene and sanitisation.

  3. This Order shall be in force and effective until the orders of Lockdown issued by the Government, from time to time, under the Disaster Management Act, 2005 or any other Act in force in the State.

  4. The Government may at any time and at its discretion, either modify or rescind the same.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (/) of section 139 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, (XXV of 1949), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra has issued a Notification No. FLR-0520/COVID/C.R.-4-EXC-2, dated 19th May 2020 exempting persons holding licence in Form FL-III as appended to the Bombay Foreign Liquor Rules, 1953 from the provisions of certain rules with regards to provisions of license for sale on consumption to residents or boarders subject to certain conditions as set out there in.

Now, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (/) of section 139 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949, the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes following modifications to notification dated 19th May 2020

(A) For Condition No. 1 following condition be substituted, namely

  1. The FL-III license holder is allowed to sell liquor to valid permit holders in sealed bottles for "off consumption".

(B) In Condition No. 4 for the words "the liquor stocks last", the words, "until further orders", be substituted.

(C) The Condition No. 5 is hereby deleted.

These modifications shall come into force with effect from the date of issuance of this Notification.

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (/) of section 139 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, (XXV of 1949), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf the Government of Maharashtra has issued an Order No. FLR-0620-COVID-C.R.-5-EXC-3, dated 4th June 2020 exempting persons holding licence in Form 'E' and 'E-2' as appended to the Special Permits and Licences Rules, 1952 from the provisions of license for sale on consumption to residents or boarders subject to certain conditions as set out there in.

Now, in exercise of powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (/) of section 139 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949, the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes following modifications to order dated 4th June 2020

(A) For Condition No. 1 following condition be substituted, namely

  1. The 'E' and 'E-2' license holder is allowed to sell liquor to valid permit holders in sealed bottles for "off consumption".

Note: Permissions and Exemptions mentioned in para (121-D) to (121-I) were in force and effective till 31-03-2022. Because Lockdown Restrictions were withdrawn by Government of Maharashtra, Revenue and Forest Department order No. DMU-2020-C.R. 92-DSM-1, dated 31-03-2022.
