15. Commissioner's power to exempt licensees

The Commissioner may, subject to such conditions as he may specify, exempt any licensee from all or any of the provisions of these regulations for a period not exceeding six months, regard being had to the circumstances prevailing at the producer's sugar factory, or the premises of the holder of a licence in form M-III, as the case may be.

16. Storage of molasses

[Notwithstanding anything contained in these regulations, molasses shall not be stored except in the leak proof fully covered steel tanks.]1

In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 41 of the Bombay Molasses Rules, 1955 and in suppression of his Order No. 17-5/55 (DQ) dated the 24th September 1955, the Commissioner hereby specifies 2.5 kilograms as the permitted quantity of molasses (including bagus molasses) for domestic purposes, local area comprised in Phaltan Taluka of the Satara District.
