In exercise of the powers conferred by the first proviso to sub-section (2) of section 60 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 (Bom. XXV of 1949), the Government of Maharashtra hereby notifies, with effect from the 1st day of June 1976 and in supersession of Government Notification, Home Department, No. MFL., 1171-DI dated the 26th March 1976, the areas specified in column 1 of the schedule hereto within which and the periods respectively specified against them in column 2 of the said schedule as the periods during which, no licence, permit or pass shall be necessary for the collection, transport, sale, purchase or possession of any quantity of Mhowra Flowers which shall be the produce of that year and of that area.
