In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (u) of sub-section (2) of section 143 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 (Bom. XXV of 1949), and in supersession of the rules published in the notification of the Commissioner of Excise, Bombay, No. 81-7/35, dated the 29th January 1935, the Government of Bombay is pleased to make the following rules, namely:
