In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act (XXV of 1949), the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints the Superintendent of State Excise Department, within their respective jurisdiction, to exercise the powers and perform the functions of the Collector under the provisions of the Bombay Rectified Spirit Rules, 1951 with respect to the licences granted under the said Rules in Form R.S.VI, R.S.VI-A and R.S.VII.
