6. Notice to person likely to be affected adversely,—
Before an appellate authority passes any order in appeal, likely to affect any person adversely, it shall send to such person a notice and give such person a reasonable opportunity of being heard.
7. Supply of copy of order to appellant and officer concerned.—
A copy of the order passed in appeal shall be supplied free of cost to the appellant or the person affected thereby and another copy shall be sent to the officer whose order forms the subject matter of the appeal.

In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 6 of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949 (XXV of 1949), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf; the Government of Maharashtra is hereby pleased to invest the Principal Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, Home Department (State Excise), who is in charge of State Excise wing, all the powers, duties and functions of the State Government under sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 137 and section 138 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 and the rules, regulations and orders made there under, excluding matters pertaining to Satara district and The Maharashtra Manufacture of Beer and Wine Rules, 1966, respectively.
This shall come into force with effect from the date of issuance of this order.
