(c) The maximum quantity of each kind of foreign liquor required to be stored in bond at any one time;
(d) Date from which the applicant desires to store in bond foreign liquor.
(e) Whether the applicant is prepared to deposit the amount of security provided in sub-rules (2) of rule 4 as gurantee for the observance of the provisions of the Act, and the rules, regulations and orders made there under:
(f) Whether the applicant holds a Trade and Import licence under the Bombay Foreign Liquor Rules, 1953.
(2) The applicant shall give an undertaking to the eflect that he shall abide by the provisions of the Act and the rules, regulations and orders made there under and the conditions of the licence and shall execute a bond in "Form B. W. A." for the payment ofduty.

- (i) **Spirits** = Brandy, Whisky, Rum, Gin वगैरे
- (ii) **Wines** = Champagne, Port, Sherry, Burgundy इत्यादी (कमीत कमी 5% अल्कोहल असणे आवश्यक)
- (iii) **Fermented liquor** = Beer, Ale, Cider वगैरे (5% पेक्षा जास्त अल्कोहल)
- (iv) **Mild liquor** = 5% पेक्षा कमी अल्कोहल असलेली दारू
- (v) **Local liquor** = काजू, महुआ किंवा इतर फळांपासून स्थानिकपणे तयार केलेली दारू
**उत्पादन शुल्क पर्यवेक्षण** = दारूबंदी आणि उत्पादन शुल्क विभागाचे कर्मचारी दारूचे तपासणी आणि नियंत्रण करतात।
**Licensed premises** = ज्या जागेला licence मिलेली आहे ती जागा (दुकान, होटेल इत्यादी)।
**Permit-holder** = ज्याकडे permit (परवाना) आहे अशी व्यक्ती, किंवा विदेशी पर्यटकासाठी जारी केलेला liquor permit असलेली व्यक्ती।
**Wholesale विक्री** = licensed retailers किंवा wholesalers ना दारू विकणे।
**Unit (मद)** = दारूचे मापन:
- 750 मि.ली. spirit किंवा देशी दारू = 1 unit
- 1000 मि.ली. spirit = 1 unit
- 1500 मि.ली. wine = 1 unit
- 2600 मि.ली. beer/fermented liquor = 1 unit
**Growler** = 1-5 लिटर धारण करणारे भांडे, जिथे microbrewery किंवा restaurant-brewery परवानाधारक kegs वरून beer भरून देतात।
**Prescription** = नोंदणीकृत डॉक्टरने दिलेले औषधपत्र (वैद्यकीय उद्देशांसाठी दारू मिळवण्यासाठी)।
**Privilege personage** = कायद्याच्या कलम ४१ अंतर्गत विशेष अधिकार असलेली व्यक्ती।

4. Application for licence
(1) on receipt of the application under rule 3, the Collector shall verify the particulars given there in and satisfy himself that the building or rooms of the bonded warehouse conform to the requirements of regulation 3 of the Maharashtra Foreign Liquor (Storage and Supply) Regulations, 1964. He may make such inquiries as he deems necessary 1in respect of bona fides of the applicant, whether the applicant is a fit person to hold the licence and is likely to abide by the provisions of the Bombay Prohibition Act. 1949 and the rules and orders issued there under1 and if he sees no objection to permitting the applicant to store in bond foreign liquor at the place specified in the application, he shall forward the application to the Commissioner with his recommendation.
(2) 2If on receipt of the application under sub-rule (/) the Commissioner is satisfied that the proper enquiries have been instituted by the Collector in respect of the request of the applicant and the applicant is fit person to hold the licence applied for2 he may, with the previous sanction of the State Government, grant the applicant a licence in Form B. W. 1 on payment of3a fee (inclusive of consideration) of Rs. 50,0003 and of security deposit of Rs. 10,000.
(3) No licence under sub-rule (2) shall be granted for a period beyond 31st of March next following the date of the commencement of the licence.
44-A Procedure for grant of licence for subsequent periods : Where any licensee desires to continue to store foreign liquor in bond after the date of expiry of his licence and makes an applicant mentioned in rule 34 5accompanied by a chailan evidencing payment of the application fee of Rs. 255 at least thirty days before such date the provision of rule 4 shall mutalis mutandis apply to the grant of the licence with this modification that unless the Stale Government directs otherwise, it shall not be necessary fbr the Commissioner to obtain the previous sanction of the State Government].

5. Grant of licence
The Commissioner shall retain the originals of the description and plan referred to in rule 3, forward the duplicate there of to the officer-in-charge through the Collector and return the triplicate to the licensee.

• कोणतेही कायदेशीर आपत्ती तर नाही?
- जर सर्व काही ठीक असेल तर licence दिले जाते.
**खर्च:**
- तुम्हाला **licence fee** (State Government किंवा Commissioner ठरवतो) भरावा लागतो.
- तसेच **₹1,00,000 (एक लाख रुपये) का guarantee deposit** देणे बंधनकारक आहे.
**नोट:** काही परिस्थितीत State Excise Superintendent सरळ licence मंजूर करू शकतात, Committee शिवाय.
6. Duration of licence
All transactions pertaining to the receipt, transport, storage in bond and issues of foreign liquor shall be under excise supervision and in accordance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Foreign Liquor (Storage and Supply) Regulations, 1964.
नियम ५ अंतर्गत कोणतीही अनुज्ञप्ती अनुज्ञप्ती सुरू झाल्याच्या तारखेनंतर येणाऱ्या ३१ मार्चपेक्षा जास्त कालावधीसाठी मंजूर करण्यात येणार नाही.
