4. Application for licence

No brandy or rum shall be dispensed by a licensee, not being a registered medical practitioner, unless the prescription is marked with the words "not to be repeated:
Provided that brandy or rum may be dispensed more than once on the same prescription, in pursuance of fresh directions duly dated, signed and endorsed on the prescription each time by the registered medical practitioner.

The licensee shall not, except with the previous sanction of the Collector, dispense brandy or rum on the same prescription for a period of more than thirty consecutive days.
