Townsi % permit to possess consume, use and buyforeign liquor forpersonal consumption

(herein after called "the permit-holdeF) residing permanently at ........___ ... and temporarily at ........................................................ is hereby granted a permit under and subject to he provisions of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949, and the rules, regulations and orders made there under, authorising him/her to buy, possess, transport, use and consume, foreign liquor within the State of Maharashtra, during the period from ....................—............... to ........................................... (both days inclusive) subject to the following conditions, namely:—

Conditions

  1. The permit-holder shall not use foreign liquor except for personal consumption.

  2. (a) The quantity of foreign liquor that may be possessed at any one time under the pennit shall not exceed 1two units1.

    2(b) The permit-holder shall not buy more than two units of foreign liquor at any one time or more than six units during any month.2

  3. Excecpt as permitted by the Commissioner the permit-holder shall not obtain foreign liquor required by him from any place other than a Government depot or a licensed hotel or club or a shop in respect of which a vendor's licence has been issued under the Act He shall not buy more than one unit of foreign liquor in any one week.

  4. The permit-holder shall not use or consume foreign liquor in a public place or in the rooms of a hotel or institution to which the public may have access.

  5. 24-A. The pennit-holder may allow the use or consumption of any part of the quantity of foreign liquor possessed by him under the permit to any other person who holds a permit under section 503. 3[40-A]3,41,46,46-Aor47 of the Act]

  7. 55. This permit shall accompany the stock of foreign liquor held there under to any place where it is removed from the permit-holder's residence.5

  8. The permit-holder shall not get drank in any public place and shall not be incharge of any vehicle or animal ifhe is drunk and incapable oftaking care of the vehicle or animal.

  9. The permit-holder shall abide by the conditions of this permit and the provisions of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949, and the rules, regulations and orders made there under.
