2. Definitions व्याख्या
The said person is competent in my/our absence to conduct my/our above mentioned duties in accordance with the provisions of the said rules. He is of good character; and as far as I/we know, he has not been convicted of any offence under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949, nor has he been convicted by a Criminal Court or Black listed in respect of excise licenses, rendering him unfit for appointment as Nokar.

**मुख्य व्याख्या:**
**(a) Act** = मुंबई दारूबंदी कायदा, १९४९
**(b) Authorised Officer** = देशी दारूचा परवाना देण्याचा अधिकार असलेला शासकीय अधिकारी.
उदा., जर तुम्हाला दारू खरेदी करायचा असेल तर त्यांचाकडून परवाना घ्यायचा लागतो.
**(c) Chemical Analyser** = सरकारचा रसायनशास्त्रज्ञ जो दारूचा नमुना तपासतो आणि मिथ्या दारू पकडतो.
**(d) Compounding** = शुद्ध पाणी, सुगंध किंवा रंग मिसळून दारू बनवणे.
**(e) Country Liquor** = देशातून बनवलेली रंगहीन दारू (आसवन किंवा मिश्रण प्रक्रियेने). परदेशातून आयात केलेली दारू यात समाविष्ट नाही.
**(f) Excise Supervision** = अधिकारीचा देखरेख - दारू कारखानांमध्ये सर्व काम नियमांनुसार होत आहे याची पाहणी.
**(g) Form** = नियमांमध्ये दिलेले नमुना/फॉर्म.
**(h) Licence** = या नियमांतर्गत दिलेला परवाना.
**(i) Licensee** = परवाना धारण करणारी व्यक्ती.
**(j) Licensed Retail Shop** = परवानाधारक दुकान - जिथे परवाना असेल तर देशी दारू किरकोळ विक्रीने विकता येते.
**(k) Manufactory** = दारू कारखाने वर दारू बनवण्या, पॅक करण्या आणि साठवण्याचा भाग.
**(l) Manufactory Officer** = कारखान्यात काम पाहणारा अधिकारी.
**(m) Manufacturing Room** = कारखान्यात दारू तयार करण्याचा खास भाग.
**(n) Permit Holder** = परवाना धारक व्यक्ती.
**(o) Permit** = दारू खरेदी, ताबा, वाहतूक आणि वापरासाठी दिलेला परवाना.
**(p) Spirit Room** = कारखान्यात तेल-दारू साठवण्याचा खास भाग.
**(q) Store Room** = शुल्क न भरलेल्या दारूची साठवणूक करण्याचा भाग.
**(r) Superintendent** = दारूबंदी विभागाचा अधीक्षक.
**(s) Warehouse** = दारू साठवून घाऊक विक्रीने विक्रीचे गोदाम.
**(t) इतर शब्द** = यथेष्ठ व्याख्या न असल्यास मुख्य कायद्यातील अर्थ वापरायचा.
3. Grant of License परवाना देणे
I/We have explained to him personally all the conditions of my/our licences; and I/we hold myself/ourselves responsible personally for any offences he may commit in the conduct of the business under my/our licence.
4. Renewal of Licence परवान्याचे नूतनीकरण
This Nokarnama shall become invalid on the suspension, cancellation or expiry of my/our licence or if a competent officer refuses counter signature thereon. This Nokarnama will also become invalid, if the Superintendent concerned issues order to that effect. This Nokarnama shall be kept with the employee.
