In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 (Bom. XXV of 1949) (herein after referred to as the said Act), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf and in supersession of all previous notifications issued in this behalf under the Bombay Abkari Act, 1978, the Opium Act, 1978 and the Bombay Molasses Act, 1947, the Government of Bombay is pleased to invest the Officers mentioned in column 1 of Schedule A hereto appended with the powers under the said Act, specified against them in column 3 of the said Schedule A, specified against them in column 3 of the said Schedule A, within the area specified in column 2 of the said Schedule A.
