IMPORTANT NOTES / CONDITIONS

1. Supreme Court Litigation Pending: All seniority lists remain subject to Special Leave Petition No. 28306/2017 filed in the Supreme Court of India. Any orders passed by the Supreme Court shall supersede these lists.

2. Objection Resolution: All objections received against the interim seniority lists published on 6 April 2022 have been processed and disposed of. Concerned officers have been notified of the disposal.

3. Resignation/Promotion: Shrimati T.S. Dandekar, who was in Seniority Rank 2 as on 01.01.2021, was promoted to the post of Additional Commissioner on 28.04.2020. Therefore, she does not appear in the 01.01.2022 list. Her retirement date was 31.07.2021.

4. Circulation Requirement: These final seniority lists must be circulated to:

   • Commissioner of State Excise, Maharashtra
   • All concerned excise officers
   • Records (RAUSHU-1 file) for archival
