No. BPA. 1993/VIII/EXC-3 Whereas the Government of Maharashtra considers that the following Rules to repeal the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Wholesale Price) Rules, 1973, the Maharshtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Retail Price) Rules, 1973 and Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling Ex-manufactory Price) Rules 1989 should be brought into force at once and, therefore, the rules should be made without previous publication as provided but the proviso the sub-section (3) of section 143 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 (Bom. XXV of 1949) (hereinafter referred to as "the said Act").
Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (ii) of clause (h1) of sub-section (2) and the proviso to sub-section 143 of the said Act, read with section 21 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904 (Bom. I of 1973), the Maharashtra hereby makes the following rules to repeal the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Wholesale Prices) Rules, 1973 the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Retail Price) Rules, 1973 and the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Ex-manufactory Price) Rules, 1989.
📋 AT A GLANCE: These Rules repeal the prior regulations imposing ceiling controls on wholesale prices, retail prices, and ex-manufactory prices for country liquor in Maharashtra. The repeal eliminates mandatory price caps for manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers of country liquor products, allowing market-based pricing mechanisms to operate within the state's liquor regulatory framework under the Bombay Prohibition Act.

क्र. BPA. 1993/VIII/EXC-3 ज्या अर्थी महाराष्ट्र शासन हे मानते की महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (घाऊक किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९७३, महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (किरकोळ किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९७३ आणि महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (कारखान्यातील किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम १९८९ रद्द करण्यासाठी पुढील नियम तात्काळ अंमलात आणले जावेत आणि म्हणून, मुंबई दारूबंदी अधिनियम, १९४९ (मुंबई क्र. XXV, १९४९) (यापुढे "सदर अधिनियम" म्हणून संदर्भित) च्या कलम १४३ च्या उपकलम (३) च्या परंतुकात तरतूद केल्याप्रमाणे पूर्वप्रकाशनाशिवाय नियम करण्यात यावेत.
त्या अर्थी, सदर अधिनियमाच्या कलम १४३ च्या उपकलम (२) च्या खंड (h1) च्या उपखंड (ii) आणि कलम १४३ च्या परंतुकाद्वारे प्रदान केलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करून, मुंबई सर्वसाधारण खंड अधिनियम, १९०४ (मुंबई क्र. I, १९७३) च्या कलम २१ सह वाचता, महाराष्ट्र शासन याद्वारे महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (घाऊक किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९७३, महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (किरकोळ किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९७३ आणि महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (कारखान्यातील किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९८९ रद्द करण्यासाठी पुढील नियम करीत आहे.
Short title शीर्षक
1. Short title.—These rules may be called the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Wholesale Price, Retail Price and Ex-manufactory Price) (Repeal) Rules, 1993.
शीर्षक - या नियमांना महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (घाऊक किंमत, किरकोळ किंमत आणि कारखान्यातील किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) (रद्द) नियम, १९९३ असे संबोधण्यात येईल.
Repeal of Ceiling on Price of Liquor Rules दारूच्या किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा नियम रद्द करणे
2. Repeal of Ceiling on Price of Liquor Rules.—On the date of publication of these rules in the Official Gazette, the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Wholesale Price) Rules, 1973, the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Retail Price) Rules, 1973 and the Maharashtra Country Liquor (Ceiling on Ex-manufactory Price) Rules, 1989, shall stand repealed, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such repeal.
दारूच्या किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा नियम रद्द करणे - या नियमांच्या शासकीय राजपत्रात प्रकाशनाच्या तारखेस, महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (घाऊक किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९७३, महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (किरकोळ किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९७३ आणि महाराष्ट्र देशी दारू (कारखान्यातील किमतीवरील कमाल मर्यादा) नियम, १९८९, हे अशा रद्द करण्यापूर्वी केलेल्या किंवा करण्यास वगळलेल्या गोष्टींबाबत वगळता, रद्द केलेले असतील.
