These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MyExcise website (https://myexcise.net), operated by Vertex TechnoLegal (proprietor: Mohan Varde). By accessing or using MyExcise, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
About MyExcise
MyExcise is an excise assistant platform for Maharashtra State Excise. It provides access to:
- The Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 and related Acts
- Rules framed under Section 143 of the Act
- Regulations framed by the Excise Commissioner under Section 144
- Government Notifications, Orders, Resolutions, and Circulars
- Official Forms and Schedules
- Maharashtra Excise Manual (scanned PDF viewer)
- AI-powered legal information (MyExcise AI, previously known as Excise GPT)
- Brand & Price list of liquor products
- Contact directory of Excise Department officers
User Accounts
Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
- One account per person. Sharing accounts is not permitted.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Free Account
- Visitors can browse up to 50 pages without registration.
- Registered free users (Google login) get 30 days of full content access from the date of signup — unlimited reading of all manual pages, Government Resolutions, gazette notifications, and downloads.
- AI prompts (MyExcise AI) are not included in the free trial and are available only to active subscribers, VIP users, and recharge-pack holders.
- After the 30-day free trial ends, content access is locked until you subscribe or your account is granted bonus pages by an admin.
- No payment information is required for the free account.
- Note: After a paid subscription expires and the 7-day grace period ends, full subscription renewal is required to continue using paid features (unlimited content, AI prompts, downloads).
Subscription & Payment
Subscription Plans
- Monthly Plan — ₹100/month (31 days from date of purchase): Unlimited access to all Maharashtra Excise laws, rules, regulations, manual and forms, plus 3 MyExcise AI prompts total for the 31-day subscription.
- Yearly Plan — ₹1,000/year (365 days from date of purchase): Unlimited access to all content plus 50 MyExcise AI prompts total for the year (use anytime during your subscription). Best value at ₹83/month.
- Subscription is a one-time payment for the validity period above and does not auto-renew. You will not be billed again at the end of the period.
- Subscription is for a single user and is non-transferable.
- AI prompts are allocated in full at purchase and are valid for the entire subscription duration. Unused prompts do not carry forward on renewal.
- On subscription expiry (after the 7-day grace period), all remaining prompt balances are forfeited — no refund or carry forward.
- During the 7-day grace period after subscription expiry, content remains accessible in read-only mode but MyExcise AI is disabled.
AI Prompt Recharge Packs
- Starter Pack: 5 prompts for ₹100
- Value Pack: 15 prompts for ₹200
- Recharge packs are available to active subscribers and VIP users only.
- Recharge prompts are valid only while your subscription (or VIP status) is active. They expire with your subscription — unused prompts will not be refunded or carried forward.
Payment Processing
- All payments are processed securely through Razorpay.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Payment confirmation is sent to your registered email.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
- Subscriptions are one-time payments and do not auto-renew; there is therefore no recurring charge to cancel.
- Since a free 30-day trial with full content access is provided before any payment, we encourage users to fully evaluate the service before subscribing.
- Refund requests made within 7 days of subscription purchase will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Refunds for AI prompt recharge packs are not available once any prompt from the pack has been used.
- To request a refund, email myexcise1@gmail.com with your registered email, Razorpay payment ID, and reason.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method.

AI Assistant (MyExcise AI) — Disclaimer
Important: Please read this section carefully.
- MyExcise AI (previously named "Excise GPT") is an AI-powered informational tool that provides answers based on legal text stored in our database.
- Responses generated by MyExcise AI are for informational and educational purposes only.
- AI responses do NOT constitute legal advice, professional opinion, or official interpretation of the law.
- AI may occasionally produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Always verify important legal matters with the original Act/Rules or a qualified legal professional.
- MyExcise and Vertex TechnoLegal shall not be liable for any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from reliance on AI-generated responses.
- For binding legal advice, consult a qualified legal practitioner or the State Excise Department directly.
Content Accuracy
- We strive to keep all legal content accurate and up-to-date.
- Content is sourced from official Maharashtra State Excise Department publications, government gazettes, and legal databases.
- In case of any discrepancy, the original official government publication shall prevail.
- MyExcise is a private reference platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Maharashtra State Excise Department or any government body.
- If you find any error in our content, please report it to myexcise1@gmail.com.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute content from MyExcise for commercial purposes
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the website
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our servers
- Share your subscription credentials with others
- Use the AI chatbot to generate misleading or fraudulent legal documents
- Upload harmful content, viruses, or malicious code
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
Intellectual Property
- The MyExcise website design, logo, AI system, database structure, and original content are the intellectual property of Mohan Suklal Varde (Vertex TechnoLegal).
- Legal texts (Acts, Rules, Regulations) are government publications available in the public domain. Our value-add is in digital organization, search, cross-referencing, and AI analysis.
- You may use content for personal reference and study. Commercial redistribution requires written permission.
Limitation of Liability
- MyExcise is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or reliance on our content.
- Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the preceding 12 months.
Changes to Service & Pricing
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of MyExcise at any time.
- Subscription prices may change. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect.
- Active subscriptions will continue at the original price until their expiry date.
Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
- Upon termination, your access to paid content will cease immediately. No refund will be provided for terminated accounts due to policy violations.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
- Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of MyExcise after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
