Drugs-permit matters covered by these notifications are now inoperative under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 framework. The underlying rules at paragraphs {133} and {134} of the printed manual have themselves been repealed.
📋 AT A GLANCE: These Rules govern the constitution and operation of a Medical Board authorized to issue permits for possession and use of narcotic drugs for medical and scientific purposes. The Board evaluates applications from registered medical practitioners and authorized institutions, grants permits for legitimate therapeutic and research applications, and regulates distribution of controlled substances under the Bombay Prohibition Act framework.
