Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to subscription plans and AI prompt recharge packs purchased on MyExcise (https://myexcise.net), operated by Vertex TechnoLegal (proprietor: Mohan Varde).
Please read this policy carefully before completing any purchase. By proceeding with a payment, you agree to the terms set out below.
Try Before You Buy
To minimise the need for refunds, MyExcise provides a free tier so that you can fully evaluate the platform before paying:
- Visitors (no account): up to 50 pages of access.
- Registered free users (Google login): 30 days of full content access, including all manual pages, Government Resolutions, gazette notifications, search, and downloads. AI prompts are not included in the free trial.
We strongly encourage you to use the 30-day free trial first and confirm that MyExcise meets your needs before subscribing.
Subscription Refunds
Eligibility window
- Refund requests for the Monthly Plan (₹100) or Yearly Plan (₹1,000) made within 7 days of purchase will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable.
Reasons we will accept
- Duplicate payment for the same plan
- Technical issue that prevented you from using the service for the majority of the eligibility window, despite a good-faith attempt to contact support
- Unauthorised payment from your card or account (after verification)
Reasons we will not accept
- "I changed my mind" after meaningful use of the platform
- Dissatisfaction with content that is publicly available in the free tier
- Failure to read the Terms & Conditions or Plan inclusions before purchase
AI Prompt Recharge Packs
- Recharge packs (5 prompts for ₹100; 15 prompts for ₹200) are non-refundable once any prompt has been used, since each prompt incurs a real-time cost to a third-party AI provider.
- If none of the prompts in the pack have been used and the request is made within 7 days of purchase, a refund will be considered.
- Recharge prompts expire when your active subscription expires. Unused prompts at the time of expiry are forfeited and are not refundable.
Cancellation
MyExcise subscriptions are one-time payments and do not auto-renew. There is therefore no recurring charge to cancel.
- Your subscription simply expires at the end of its validity period (31 days for Monthly, 365 days for Yearly).
- If you do not wish to continue, you do not need to take any action — no further amount will be charged.

How to Request a Refund
Send an email to myexcise1@gmail.com with the following information:
- Subject: "Refund Request — <your registered email>"
- Razorpay Payment ID (from your payment confirmation email — usually starts with
pay_) - Date and amount of the payment
- Reason for the refund request
We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 7 business days.
Processing Time & Method
- Approved refunds are processed through Razorpay back to the original payment method only. We cannot refund to a different card, account, or method.
- Once we initiate the refund, Razorpay typically credits the amount to your account within 7-10 business days, depending on your card-issuing bank.
- If 10 business days have passed since we confirmed the refund and you have not received it, please contact your bank first, then write to us with the bank's reference.
Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
- If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or card network without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your MyExcise account until the dispute is resolved.
- We strongly prefer to resolve all payment concerns directly. Please email us first.
Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of MyExcise after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
