In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (i) of sub-section (2) of section 143 of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 (Bom. XXV of 1949), and in supersession of Government Notification in the Revenue Department, No. 238, dated the 12th March 1913, the Government of Bombay is pleased to make the following rule, namely:
मुंबई दारूबंदी अधिनियम, १९४९ (मुंबई क्र. XXV, १९४९) च्या कलम १४३ च्या उपकलम (२) च्या खंड (i) द्वारे प्रदान केलेल्या अधिकारांचा वापर करून आणि शासन अधिसूचना, महसूल विभाग, क्र. २३८, दिनांक १२ मार्च १९१३ या अधिक्रमित करून, मुंबई शासनाला पुढील नियम करण्यास आनंद होत आहे :
to employ certain persons विशिष्ट व्यक्तींना कामावर ठेवण्यास मनाई
"No person holding a license for the sale of intoxicants, mhowra flowers or molasses shall employ any of the following persons to assist him in his business in any capacity whatsoever namely :
"मादक पदार्थ, महुआ फुले किंवा मळी यांच्या विक्रीचा परवाना धारण करणारी कोणतीही व्यक्ती पुढील कोणत्याही व्यक्तींना कोणत्याही पदावर आपल्या व्यवसायात मदत करण्यासाठी नियुक्त करणार नाही :
(a) persons below 21 years of age ;
(अ) २१ वर्षांखालील वयाच्या व्यक्ती ;
(b) persons suffering from an infectious or contagious disease;
(ब) संसर्गजन्य किंवा साथीच्या रोगाने ग्रस्त व्यक्ती;
(c) persons convicted on an offence under––
(क) पुढील अधिनियमांतर्गत अपराधासाठी दोषसिद्ध झालेल्या व्यक्ती––
(i) the Bombay Abkari Act, 1878, the Opium Act, 1878 or the Bombay Molasses Act, 1947 ; or
(i) मुंबई अबकारी अधिनियम, १८७८, अफू अधिनियम, १८७८ किंवा मुंबई मळी अधिनियम, १९४७ ; किंवा
(ii) the

(d) persons whose licenses or nokarnamas have previously been cancelled;
(ड) ज्या व्यक्तींचे परवाने किंवा नोकरनामे यापूर्वी रद्द करण्यात आले आहेत;
(e) persons on the Police list of convicted persons or bad characters;
(इ) दोषसिद्ध व्यक्ती किंवा संशयित चारित्र्याच्या व्यक्तींच्या पोलीस यादीतील व्यक्ती;
(f) persons, if any, debarred by the terms of the license :
(फ) परवान्याच्या अटींद्वारे अनर्ह ठरविलेल्या व्यक्ती, असल्यास :
Provided that in case of persons falling under clause (c), (d) or (e), the disqualification may, at any time, be removed by a written order of the Collector."
परंतु खंड (क), (ड) किंवा (इ) अंतर्गत येणाऱ्या व्यक्तींच्या बाबतीत, अनर्हता जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांच्या लेखी आदेशाद्वारे कोणत्याही वेळी काढून टाकली जाऊ शकते."
