Originally introduced vide Government Notification, Revenue Department, No. 1048/45, dated 17^th February 1953 (published at B.G. Pt. IV-B, p. 370), prescribing the limit in weight of Mhowra Flowers for the purposes of Section 60(2) of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.

🚫 CURRENT STATUS — STANDS RESCINDED

Rescinded by G.O.H.D. No. MFL.0221/C.R.25/(3)/EXC-2, dated 10^th May 2022. Two sibling 1950/1951 notifications on the same page ({17}, {18}) were rescinded on 1^st May 2022 by companion orders.

The currently-effective framework prescribing the limit in weight of Mhowra Flowers under Section 60(2) is the Bombay Prohibition (Mhowra Flowers) (Prescribed Limit in Weight) Rules, 1963 — see Ruleset 58 at paragraph {20}.
