Extension of Service (Less than 1 Year Until Retirement)

MANDATORY COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS
1. Immediate Assumption of Duty
- All transferred officers must immediately assume new posts (तात्काळ जूजू व्हावे)
- Failure to join within the prescribed probation period (पदग्रहण अवधी) under Maharashtra Civil Service Rules, 1981, shall result in the leave period being treated as non-working days (dies non) / अकायव्दिन
2. Joining Report Submission
- After assuming charge, officers must submit a joining report to the State Government (पदभार स्वीकारल्यानंतर त्याबाबतचा अहवाल शासनास सादर करावा)
- No unauthorized leave (अनधिकृत रजेवर) is permitted
3. Salary Payment Protocol
- The June 2022 salary of transferred officers shall NOT be drawn by their previous office under any circumstances (माहे जून, 2022 चे वेतन कोणत्याही परिस्थितीत बदलीपूर्व कार्यालयाने आहरीत कजू नये)
- This ensures proper and timely salary credit to the new posting station
4. Probation and Joining Rules
- Officers must assume duties within the prescribed joining period (पदग्रहण अवधी) as per Maharashtra Civil Service (Appointment, Transfer, Suspension, Dismissal and Removal) Rules, 1981
- If an officer fails to join within this period, the absence period shall be counted as dies non (अकायव्दिन), i.e., non-working days, with adverse consequences for service seniority and benefits
PROHIBITIONS AND DISCIPLINARY PROVISIONS
Rule 23, Maharashtra Civil Service (Conduct) Rules, 1979 – Anti-Pressure Clause
Section 5 of the Order:
"Any attempt, whether direct or indirect, to apply pressure or influence to seek modification of this transfer order shall constitute a breach of Rule 23 of the Maharashtra Civil Service (Conduct) Rules, 1979."
Consequences:
