  • 9 Statistical Advisors (to be provided by MIT, Mumbai under IT Department)

2. Six new Superintendent Offices (one each for Mumbai Suburban, Thane, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Ahmednagar districts)

Funding & Approval:

• Budget allocation approved by Finance Department (informal references: APU Cr. 280/APU, dated 16.06.2025; Cr. 188/Service-9, dated 07.07.2025)
• High-level Secretariat Committee approved proposal on 26.06.2025
• Cabinet (via High-Powered Committee) approved on 10.06.2025

Salary Scales: Posts span scales S-27 (₹123,100–₹215,900) for Additional Commissioner down to S-7 (₹21,700–₹69,100) for constables
