- Each disability category can only be assigned to posts where the functional requirements of the post match the functional capabilities of the person with disability.
- Example: A person with Low Vision (LV) can be assigned to posts marked (a) B, LV because both B and LV have similar functional requirements.
- A blind person cannot be assigned to a post requiring "Seeing (SE)" unless MD (Multiple Disabilities) provisions allow flexibility.

No Exclusion Without Legal Basis:
- Per Section 33 of the Persons with Disabilities Rights Act, 2016, no person with disability can be excluded from government service based solely on disability, unless the functional requirements genuinely necessitate exclusion.
