SUMMARY:

This is a Government Resolution establishing an inter-departmental and inter-agency committee to address various grievances and issues raised by transportation and logistics organizations in Maharashtra, including Goods Transport Association, Bus Operators Association, School Bus Association, and other transport operators. Committee's Scope of Work (Karyakram):

• Address diverse problems and grievances of Goods Transport Association, Bus Owners Association, School Bus Association, and other transport operators

• The committee shall submit its report to the Government within 1 month from the date of this Government Resolution (i.e., by 01 August 2025)

IMPORTANT NOTES:

3. Jurisdiction: This falls under the Home Department and Transport Department of Maharashtra Government, not the Excise Department.
