Duplicate Licence / Amendment / Transfer of Licence — How to Apply

Process for obtaining a duplicate licence, making amendments (address/name change), or transferring your licence to another person.

If your licence is lost/damaged, or you need to change details (address, partners, name), or transfer ownership, you must apply to the Excise Office. Do not operate without a valid, current licence.

DUPLICATE LICENCE:
1. Report the loss to the police (obtain FIR/complaint copy if lost).
2. Apply for duplicate licence at the District Excise Office with a fee, affidavit, and FIR copy.

AMENDMENT (name/address/partner change):
1. Apply at the District Excise Office with the reason for amendment.
2. Attach supporting documents: new address proof / partnership deed / name change documents.
3. Pay the applicable amendment fee via GRAS.
4. Collect the amended licence after processing.

TRANSFER OF LICENCE:
1. Both transferor and transferee must apply jointly.
2. Provide: existing licence, reason for transfer, proof that transferee is eligible.
3. Pay the applicable transfer fee via GRAS.
4. The Excise Office may inspect premises before approving.
5. Collect the new licence in transferee's name.

Do not operate the premises under a transferred/amended licence until it is officially issued.

• ID proof
