Authority: Clause (a) of Rule 4 of the Maharashtra Potable Liquor (Periodicity and Fees for Grant, Renewal or Continuance of Licence) Rules, 1996, under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949

Summary: The Commissioner of State Excise notified revised license fees for all categories of alcohol manufacturing, wholesale, and retail licenses for FY 2014-15. The fee structure is tiered based on production capacity for manufacturing licenses and population brackets for retail/vend licenses. Special provisions include 25% reduced fees for FL-IV licenses restricted to single-class membership, and cantonment areas adopt fees applicable to adjacent municipal/corporation areas.

## **विशेष नियम (Special Provisions)**

### **1. Single-Class Membership Club — 25% सूट**
- Club जर फक्त एका वर्गातील सदस्यांना permit दिली तर fee 25% कमी होते
- हरवेळ Excise Commissioner कडून certificate लागेल

### **2. Cantonment Area (छावणी क्षेत्र)**
- तेथे जवळच्या Municipal/Corporation area चे fee लागू होते

### **3. Beer Endorsement (बिअर विक्रयासाठी अनुमती)**
- Sealed bottles विकण्यास: CL-III renewal fee च्या 40%
- Restaurant मध्ये: ₹40% of FL-III fee
