D. Maharashtra Toddy Shops (Licensing in Tribal Areas) Rules, 1981

• Exclusive Application: Only tribals or tribal cooperative societies can obtain retail toddy licenses in scheduled tribal areas
• License Fees (Rule 5(3)):
  • Population ≤1,000: ₹500

Shop Location Restrictions (Rule 5(6)):

• Shops must be ≥9 sq.m., consumption not visible from public view

Tapping Regulations (Rule 11):

• Date/wild palm trees: Maximum 4 months tapping/year, then 3-year rest period (or alternate years with Collector approval)
