The old rules contained no specific requirement for nameplate language or script. Under the new condition, Marathi script lettering is mandatory and must appear first on the nameplate, with font size no smaller than any other language used. Licensees may display the name in additional languages and scripts alongside Marathi, but no other items may be inscribed on the nameplate.
