EXAM STRUCTURE

Written Test (all posts): Objective multiple-choice

Subjects: Intelligence Test, General Knowledge, Marathi, English
Jawan / Jawan-cum-Driver / Steno: 120 marks (1 hr 30 min)
Peon: 200 marks (2 hrs)
Negative marking: 25% (¼ mark) deducted per wrong answer

Additional Stages:

Jawan & Jawan-cum-Driver: Physical fitness test (80 marks) — 1.5 km run (men) / 1 km run (women), 100m sprint, shot put; written exam shortlist at 1:10 ratio (min. 45% in written)
Steno/Shorthand Typist: Skill test in shorthand/typing (80 marks); written exam shortlist at 1:10 ratio (min. 45% in written)
Jawan-cum-Driver: Additional qualifying driving test (LMV and HMV)
