• No changes are made to other powers previously delegated under the GR dated 16.09.2016 in respect of other cadres/officers (संदभातील वद.16.09.2016 च्या शासन वनर्णयानुसार प्रत्यार्पित करण्यात आलेल्या इतर अधिकारांमध्ये कोणताही बदल करण्यात आलेला नाही).

LEGAL BASIS & REFERENCED RULES

Statutory Authority:

• Maharashtra Delay Prevention Act (विलंबास प्रतिबंध अधिनियम), 2005:

  • Section 6, Proviso 2 (कलम 6 मुळील परंतुक 2)
  • Section 7 (कलम 7)

  These sections regulate transfers of Government employees and require prevention of delays in discharge of official duties.

IMPORTANT NOTES / CONDITIONS

2. Transparency & Regularity: The amendment explicitly aims to introduce greater transparency (पारदर्शकता) and procedural regularity (सुसुत्रता) in the transfer process.

3. No Retroactive Change to Other Cadres: The GR clarifies that other delegated authorities under the 16.09.2016 GR remain unchanged, indicating the amendment is narrowly tailored to Inspector, Grade-B only.
