WHO IS AFFECTED

License Category: TD-1 (Toddy Retail Licenses / Toddy Shops)

Affected Parties:

• All licensed toddy shop operators/proprietors whose TD-1 licenses were active and operational during the financial year 2019-2020
• Excise authorities at district, divisional, and state levels who administer license renewal

FEE SCHEDULE

Renewal Fee Formula for 2020-2021:

• Then 2020-2021 TD-1 license fee = ₹100 + (₹100 × 0.06) = ₹106

IMPORTANT NOTES, CONDITIONS & SPECIAL PROVISIONS

Tender/Auction System:

• TD-1 licenses for 2020-2021 shall be granted through the Auction-cum-Tender (Lillat-Nim-Nividata) system as per the Maharashtra Toddy Shops Order, 2001
• This is NOT a direct continuation or automatic renewal; the license holder must participate in and win the auction/tender process
• Conditions of the tender/auction process as prescribed in the 2001 Order shall apply

Renewal Period:

• The 2019-2020 licensing year concludes on 31 August 2020
• The 2020-2021 licensing year commences from 1 September 2020
• Renewal must be completed before the old license expires to ensure continuity of operation
