Regulatory Framework: Transfers are executed in compliance with the provisions of the Maharashtra Government Employees' Transfer Regulation Act and the Act Preventing Delays in Official Duties (महाराष्ट्र शासकीय कर्मचारीयांच्या बदल्यांचे विनियमन आणि शासकीय कर्तव्य पार पाडताना होणार्या विलंबास प्रतिबंध अधिनियम), 2005.

Clause 3 — Duties of Transferred Officers and Releasing Authorities:
