Summary:
This Government Resolution (GR) delegates temporary special transfer authority previously vested in Principal Secretaries (State Excise Department) to the Principal Secretary (State Excise) in respect of Group-C cadre employees in the State Excise Department. The delegation is issued under the regulatory framework of the Maharashtra Government Employees Transfer Regulation and Prevention of Delay in Performance of Official Duties Act, 2005, as modified by a Home Department circular dated 26 November 2014.
