Who Is Affected:

• All Deputy Commissioners (Senior Grade) (Group "A") serving in the State Excise Department on or before 01.01.2014

• Specifically, the 9 officers listed in the seniority table

• Commissioner of State Excise, Maharashtra

Important Notes / Conditions / Penalties:

• Mandatory Action for Officers: Each officer whose name appears in the seniority list MUST review the list carefully within the 15-day prescribed period

• Strict Deadline: No objections or corrections will be accepted after 15 days from 20 June 2015. All representations received after the deadline will be rejected without consideration

• Nature of Objections Permitted: Officers may challenge:

• Their seniority ranking/serial number
• Their personal information (name, date of birth, appointment date, etc.)
• Any factual inaccuracy in the seniority list

• Procedure: Officers must file written objections with the State Government (Home Department) within the 15-day window

• Final List: After reviewing all timely objections, the Government will issue a final seniority list for 01.01.2014 in due course
