हातभट्टी, परराज्यातुन येणारे मद्य, बनावट मद्य, कर चुकविलेले मद्य इ. प्रकारच्या अवैध मद्य धंद्यावर पाळत ठेवून कठोर कारवाई करण्याबाबत.

• Inter-State Smuggled Liquor (परराज्यातून येणारे मद्य): Liquor brought from other states without proper permits/documentation in violation of state excise laws

• Spurious/Counterfeit Liquor (बनावट मद्य): Fake branded liquor or adulterated alcoholic beverages

• Tax-Evaded Liquor (कर चुकविलेले मद्य): Genuine liquor on which applicable state excise duties have not been paid

• Other Forms of Unauthorised Liquor Trade: Any other violations under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act

Directive to Field Officers:

The circular instructs excise enforcement staff to:

• Maintain strict surveillance (पाळत ठेवून) on all forms of illicit liquor activity
• Take stringent action (कठोर कारवाई) against violators
• Detect and prosecute offences related to unauthorised manufacture, transport, sale, and possession

Legal Basis: Enforcement powers under Sections 56, 86, and other penal provisions of the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949
