What this form is for
Form R. S. VII-F is a monthly register that records the full movement of spirit in a distillery or warehouse: the opening balance, quantities received, issues and deliveries, allowed and excess deficiencies, the closing balance, and the bulk litres on which duty is payable. It is maintained by the licensee operating under the Bombay Rectified Spirit Rules, 1951, and must be kept separately for rectified spirit and absolute alcohol. It is prepared each month from the licensee's stock and issue entries, and the figures can be checked against actual stock. The form is prescribed under rule 43 (2) of those Rules, made under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
