What this form is for
Form R. S. VII-D is the Spirit Stock Account of a rectified spirit warehouse, a running ledger that records spirit on hand, received, issued, lost through allowed deficiencies and the closing balance, measured in bulk and proof litres. It is maintained by the licensee or person in charge of the warehouse, who must keep it continuously and write separate accounts for rectified spirit and absolute alcohol. The form is prescribed under rule 43 (1) of the Bombay Rectified Spirit Rules, 1951, framed under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949.
