What this form is for
Form R. S. VII-C is a register that records the dimensions and capacities of the vats and vessels used in a rectified spirit establishment, including the dates of gauging and each regauging and the resulting depth-to-volume tables. It is maintained by the licensee, and gauging entries are initialled by the officer who carries out the gauging, whenever a vat is first gauged or later regauged. The form is prescribed under licence condition No. 7(2) of the Bombay Rectified Spirit Rules, 1951. Its note requires separate accounts for rectified spirit and absolute alcohol.
