What this form is for
Form R. S. VI-D is a monthly register in which rectified spirit, including absolute alcohol, is accounted for by opening balance, quantities received, quantities sold and closing balance, recorded in litres and in bottles of 750 ml, 500 ml and 250 ml. It is maintained by the holder of an R. S. VI licence, who must enter each receipt and each sale as it occurs, along with the source of supply and the purchaser's transport pass and R. S. II licence details. The form is prescribed under rule 32 (1) of the Bombay Rectified Spirit Rules, 1951.
