Form R. S. VI-B is a monthly register that records the receipt, bottling use, wastage and closing balance of rectified spirit or absolute alcohol received for bottling, along with the stock of bottles filled with it. It is maintained by the licensee holding a licence in Form R. S. VI-A, who must make entries as spirit is received, used and transferred, and present the register for checking by the Prohibition and Excise Officer. It is prescribed under rule 50(2) of the Bombay Rectified Spirit Rules, 1951, and condition 4(1) of the licence in Form R. S. VI-A.
