What this form is for

Form A is an application for a pass to import duty-paid imported foreign liquor or Indian-made foreign liquor into Maharashtra, addressed to the Collector. It is filed by a licence or permit holder authorised under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949 to possess or sell such liquor, when they want to bring a stated kind and quantity from a shop, distillery, brewery or warehouse outside the State to their own shop, house or bonded warehouse. The form is prescribed under rules 4 and 10 of the Maharashtra Foreign Liquor (Import and Export) Rules, 1963, and the applicant agrees to abide by the Act, its rules and the conditions of the pass.
