What this form is for
Form T.D.—8 is a register that a toddy shop licensee keeps to record the Nokars or Agents appointed to act on the licensee's behalf, along with the Nokarnama issued to each. It is maintained by the licensee, who must make an entry whenever a Nokar/Agent is appointed and a Nokarnama is issued, including the fee payment and the place and purpose of appointment. The form is prescribed under rule 24(1) of the Maharashtra Toddy Shops (Licensing) and Toddy Trees (Tapping) Rules, 1968.
