What this form is for
Certificate-3 is a delivery certificate that confirms a consignment of Indian-made foreign liquor, exported under an export pass, reached its destination with the seals on the packages and receptacles intact. It is issued by the Excise Officer at the importing place, who records what was delivered, to whom, and on what date. Where applicable, the officer also certifies that the importer has paid all duties and fees under the Bombay Prohibition Act, 1949; this part is struck off if not relevant. The form is prescribed under rule 25(3) of the Maharashtra Foreign Liquor (Import and Export) Rules, 1963.
