What this form is for
Form "Certificate-1" is a certificate issued by an Excise Officer confirming that duty-paid imported foreign liquor, covered by an import pass, has been securely packed and sealed in the officer's presence. It is issued at the exporting place to the person holding the import pass, when that person has bought duty-paid foreign liquor from a shop and wishes to move it. The certificate lists the liquor's description, packaging and strength. It is prescribed under rule 6 of the Maharashtra Foreign Liquor (Import and Export) Rules, 1963.
