What this form is for
Form D.S. XXIX is a monthly register in which a retail denatured spirit licensee records the opening balance, quantities received from wholesale licensees, quantities sold, and the closing balance, counted in bottles. It is maintained by the holder of a retail denatured spirit licence (Form D.S. VII), who must make entries for each receipt, with the transport pass details, and for each sale made during the month. The register supplies the stock record against which an inspecting officer can reconcile purchases and sales. It is prescribed by rule 45-B of the Bombay Denatured Spirit Rules, 1959.
