What this form is for
Form D. S. XIV is a stock register that records the receipts, issues, losses and closing balance of rectified spirit held in a bonded warehouse for the purpose of denaturation. It is maintained by the holder of a D. S. I licence, with entries made in the bonded warehouse and initialled by both the licensee and the officer in charge of the warehouse. Each movement of spirit, such as receipt, transfer between vats, racking, evaporation or transit deficiency, and any excess deficiency chargeable to duty, is recorded in proof litres. The form is prescribed under rule 18 (3) of the Bombay Denatured Spirit Rules, 1959.
