What this form is for
Form P.L. XII is a stock register that tracks the receipt, issue and balance of colouring and flavouring substances used in making potable liquor at a manufactory. It is maintained by the licensed manufacturer, who must record each substance and the variety of liquor it is issued for, with entries signed by the licensee or his authorised agent and the manufactory officer. It allows the department to reconcile additives with production. The form is prescribed under rule 17 (44) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
