What this form is for
Form P.L. XI is a transport pass authorising the movement of potable liquor from a manufactory, with the liquor's details recorded on its reverse. It is issued by the Manufactory Officer in four copies, for the counterfoil, the destination Prohibition and Excise Officer, the licensee and the transporter, whenever a consignment is to leave the manufactory. The pass is valid only up to a stated date, and the consignment must not be broken in transit. It is prescribed under rules 19(1) and 20(2) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
