What this form is for
Form P.L., IX is a register that records the accounts of samples of potable liquor drawn from a manufactory for analysis, showing the quantity issued, the quantity consumed in testing, and any balance returned to the main bulk. It is maintained by the licensed manufactory in which the potable liquor is produced, each time samples are drawn from a batch, with the manufactory officer initialling the entries. It is prescribed under rule 18 (3) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
