What this form is for
Form P. L. VIII is a register that records every movement of bottled potable liquor through the liquor room of a manufactory, covering opening balance, receipts from the bottling room, issues, and closing balance by batch and bottle size. It is maintained by the licensee operating the potable liquor manufactory, who must make entries as bottled stock arrives from the bottling room and as it is issued out, with details of transport passes, duty paid and the signature of the manufactory officer. It is prescribed by rule 17 (22) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
