What this form is for
Form P. L. I is an indent through which a manufactory requests a stated quantity of spirit from the Distillery Officer for making potable liquor. It is filed by the licensee of the potable liquor manufactory, or an authorised agent, and is countersigned by the Manufactory Officer whenever spirit is needed for production. By signing, the licensee also undertakes to pay duty at the tariff rate on wastages beyond the prescribed allowance. The form is authorised by rule 17 (17) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
