What this form is for
Form X is a monthly spirit stock account that records, in proof litres, the opening balance, receipts, issues, allowed deficiencies, excess deficiencies and closing stock of spirit at a distillery. It is maintained and submitted by the licensee operating the distillery at the end of each month, to show how the spirit was received, moved, issued or lost and to support the calculation of duty. The form is prescribed under rule 13(3) of the Maharashtra Distillation of Spirit and Manufacture of Potable Liquor Rules, 1966.
